The name “Nzuri” means “beautiful” in Swahili. It perfectly represents our notions here at Nzuri Restoration Hair Center. We see the beauty in imperfection, and we believe in loving your imperfections unapologetically. We also believe in the power of beauty to change lives. Bridging the Gap Between Internal & External Self-Love
Passion to bring life to damaged hair is how Nzuri Restoration Hair Center came to be. Founder Katreia Edmond has been in the hair business for over 25 years.
She decided to take this direction in her career after falling in love with the art of hair/scalp restoration. Firsthand experience with this as an alopecia survivor led her to become a licensed trichologist, now specializing in hair loss recovery. Katreia’s “growing hands” have led to countless successful attempts at hair restoration after loss.
